Eligibility criteria
- The company’s owner must be a Cambodian citizen or have a permanent residence in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
- Digital startups must be no older than 3 years from the date of official business registration.
- The Digital Research & Innovation Award is open to all individuals and institutions.

Who can apply for the award?
Cambodian startups, companies, researchers, digital creators, and Cyber security professional who meet the eligibility criteria may apply.
What are the award categories?
The categories include Minister’s Startup, Digital Research & Innovation, Private Sector, Digital Content and Digital Inclusion.
What are the qualification criteria?
Applicants must meet the official eligibility requirements for their selected category, including Cambodian ownership or permanent resident status, as applicable.
What documents do I need?
Prepare your company or project profile, solution overview, evidence of impact, supporting media, and any required registration documents before submitting your application.
What are the benefits of the award?
Awardees receive national recognition, greater ecosystem visibility, category-specific prizes or recognition opportunity
Who are the judges?
The judging panel comprises representatives from ministries, institutions, the public sector, educational institutions, and civil society, each with at least five years of expertise in ICT or relevant professional experience in related fields.
What is the evaluation or selection process?
Each eligible submission will be independently reviewed and assessed by the judging panel in accordance with the official evaluation criteria. The final decision will be made collectively by the judging panel and shall be based on the overall evaluation results. Where necessary, shortlisted applicants may be invited to deliver an in-person presentation.
When are the results announced?
Final results are announced during the Cambodia Digital Award 2026 award ceremony on 11 December 2026.
