His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications and Chair of the Digital Government Committee (DGC), presided over the opening ceremony of the training course on “Embracing Digital Transformation: Navigating Emerging Technologies, Innovation, and Cloud Services for Leaders of the Digital Government Committee” held at Borey Angkor Resort & Spa, Siem Reap, with the participation of deputy chairs and members of the Committee totalling 40 participants.
This training course will span 5 days from 9-13 October 2024, with the participation of professors from 2 renowned international training institutions, guest speakers, leaders of countries in the region, and cloud technology experts from Microsoft and AWS. The professors and speakers will share knowledge, experience, and best practices in adopting emerging technologies for leadership in the fields of digital government transformation, including cloud-based technology, security, and data sovereignty related to the use of artificial intelligence, blockchain, and other data-driven methods. The leadership and members of DGC will gain an understanding of change management techniques in digital transformation, the strategic benefits of digital transformation for government operations, and building trust in digital adoption to increase efficiency and transparency in public service provision.
