Siem Reap Province: On April 30, 2026, His Excellency Khov Makara, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, presided over the closing ceremony of the training on “Strategic Cybersecurity Management and Digital Asset Governance,” held from April 27 to 30, 2026, at Angkor Paradise Hotel in Siem Reap. The training was attended by civil servants, cybersecurity and digital asset management staff from relevant government ministries and institutions, critical information infrastructure operators, banks, and microfinance institutions—bringing together approximately 50 participants from 25 institutions.

The training was organized with the objective of providing participants with advanced knowledge and practical skills in managing strategic cybersecurity and digital asset governance. It enables trainees to align cybersecurity activities with organizational objectives, strengthen governance frameworks, and enhance cyber resilience by closely linking to top-tier international cybersecurity professional standards such as CISSP, CISM, and CCISO. Participants gained not only technical expertise but also a strategic mindset to connect cybersecurity initiatives with the operational and business goals of their respective organizations.

It is worth noting that this training was organized under the Cybersecurity Resilience Improvement Project of the Kingdom of Cambodia, which receives technical assistance and support from the Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Cambodia. This project contributes to the implementation of national policies focusing on strengthening the capacity of technical civil servants across government ministries and institutions in the field of cybersecurity.
