Phnom Penh, December 21, 2020: Minister of Post and Telecommunications Vandeth Chea presided over a virtual discussion with Facebook representatives on cooperation in drafting technical, policy and regulation frameworks for digital services taxation on major tech companies with no local presence in Cambodia. The discussion highlighted Facebook’s past experiences with other countries globally and in ASEAN, and the OECD’s international VAT/GST guidelines.
