Ceremony to Reshuffle Head of Koh Kong Provincial Posts and Telecommunications Department

Ceremony to reshuffle head of Koh Kong provincial Posts and Telecommunications Department was held on December 23, 2013 at Koh Kong hall, presided over by His Excellency Mr. PRAK SOKHON, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications.

After Mr. Touch Vuthy, acting head of Koh Kong provincial Posts and Telecommunications Department had already made a brief report of posts and telecommunications achievement in the province, Mr. Yi Vannarith, Director of Personnel and Training Department read the MPTC Prakas 108 dated August 27, 2013 on the reshuffling to Mr. Touch Vuthy as the head of Koh Kong provincial Posts and Telecommunications replacing Mr. Hang Bona who was retired.

H. E. Mr. PRAK SOKHON handed over the stamp and prakas to Mr. Touch Vuthy who is head of Posts and Telecommunications Department and a new head was committed to operate with the leader and civil servants under his supervision to fulfill their duties to serve customers to developing the postal and telecommunications sectors to parallel with the nation’s progress and development.

His Excellency Mr. Bun Leut, Governor of Koh Kong province welcomed the nomination of Mr. Touch Vuthy as the head of Koh Kong provincial Posts and Telecommunications department and the gogornor also hoped that a new head would operate well to serve customers.

His Excellency Mr. PRAK SOKHON admired a5-year achievement of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications in Koh Kong province which has taken part in increasing its budget by serving telecommunication sectors, and Koh Kong, on the other hand, is one of tourism potential provinces where expands its coverage area from the city on.

The Minister also hoped that the authority and relevant institutions will support and cooperate closely with a newly assigned officer in order to crack down illegal telecom sectors, expanding its coverage to the rural areas, and updating the quality of services, starting from the provincial town for customers’ needs, especially tourists, and also considerour customers as the KING
