H.E Prak Sokhonn has been awarded by French Embassy
Phnom Penh, 6 April 2015 – The French Embassy in Phnom Penh celebrated the awarding of an “Officier dans l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur” medal of the French Government to H.E Minister Prak Sokhonn.
The French Government awarded its highest decoration to H.E Prak Sokhonn, due to the merit of his education and his accomplishing great work for both the civilian and military sectors of Cambodia. Ambassador of France to Cambodia, H.E. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf said that on behalf of the French President H.E Francois Hollande, he was pleased to award the medal to H.E Prak Sokhonn.
On that auspicious occasion, H.E Minister Prak Sokhonn expressed his sincere thanks and pride to French President H.E Francois Hollande for electing him to receive this high merit.
H.E Prak Sokhonn remarked that he never forgets his family, friends, and colleagues, and gave thanks to them for always loving and supporting him so far. Especially, he gave thanks to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia for providing him the opportunity to serve the nation.
