Inter-Ministerial Announcement of Prevention and Elimination Measures on Frequency Interference in Aeronautical Radio Navigation System in Cambodia’s Airspace

Phnom Penh, 27 July 2020, minister Vandeth Chea of ministry of post and telecommunications, minister Kanharith Khieu of ministry of information and minister in-charge Havannal Mao of state secretariat of civil aviation presided over the signing ceremony of the inter-ministerial announcement on prevention and elimination measures on frequency interference in aeronautical radio navigation system in Cambodia’s airspace.
Minister Chea stated that as the ministry tasked with radio frequency management, MPTC would continue to cooperate with ministry of information, state secretariat of civil aviation and relevant institutions to promote information sharing and research as well as set effective prevention and elimination measures on frequency interference in aeronautical radio navigation system. The objective was to ensure safety and non-interference of aeronautical radio navigation system in Cambodia’s air space.
The three ministers stood committed in jointly controlling, preventing and eliminating radio frequency interference to maintain order and ensure safety of air traffic operation coming in and going out of Cambodia.
