Phnom Penh— On the morning of June 24, 2025, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), presided over the official launch ceremony of the Plug and Play Cambodia office at the AUPP Technology Center of the American University of Phnom Penh. The launch ceremony was attended by Mr. Jupe Tan, Managing Partner for Plug and Play LLC in the Asia-Pacific region, along with other distinguished guests, including leaders from the MPTC, the president, representatives from educational institutions, and digital technology companies—with approximately 220 participants in total.

In his remarks, H.E. Minister stated that the official launch of Plug and Play Cambodia demonstrates our strong commitment to building a more robust digital startup ecosystem in Cambodia. This initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship and innovation while positioning Cambodia as an attractive and leading hub for digital startups in the region.

Furthermore, H.E. Minister highlighted that this collaboration will open doors for Cambodian digital startups to attract foreign investment opportunities, create jobs, and expand networks with business partners, academic institutions, and global experts from Plug and Play—including those from Silicon Valley, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.

It is also important to note that the ceremony included panel discussions on key topics related to investment opportunities and the business environment in Cambodia from national and international speakers.
