Phnom Penh: On May 7, 2025, His Excellency Keo Sothie, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, presided over the official launch of the Smart Startup Space. The event was attended by His Excellency Shaharuddin Onn, Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia, along with senior representatives from ministries, institutions, and relevant stakeholders totalling approximately 130 participants at the Connexion building of Koh Pich.

The Smart Startup Space was established to promote innovation and empower Cambodia’s next generation of entrepreneurs. The centre serves as a coworking space that is best for idea exchange, inspiration, and the pursuit of success, all contributing to strengthening the national economy.
