On the afternoon of June 9, 2025, His Excellency Sam Sethserey, Director General of the General Department of Information and Communication Technology of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, presided over the press conference on the “Cambodia Digital Awards 2025” under the theme “Local Innovation, Global Competition.” The conference took place at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications with the participation of numerous media organizations. The Cambodia Digital Awards 2025 is the largest national digital competition in the Kingdom of Cambodia. It has been organized since 2015 by the former National Institute of Posts, Telecoms & ICT (NIPTICT)—now known as the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT)—with the support of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications.

The objective of the “Cambodia Digital Awards 2025” is to promote and support digital business innovation and digital transformation in Cambodia with an inclusiveness mindset by encouraging the use of ICT and digital innovations in Cambodia through awards granted to institutions and entrepreneurs in the following areas:

– Recognition: Celebrate and provide the national recognition for the achievements and creativity of digital experts who contribute to the development of Cambodia’s digital ecosystem.

– Empowerment: Encourage and support businesses, institutions, and government entities to adopt digital technologies and drive long-term success in digital transformation at both regional and global levels.

– Connection: Strengthen collaboration and foster connections among digital innovators, entrepreneurs, and relevant institutions to enhance Cambodia’s digital ecosystem and promote regional and global integration.

– Opportunity: Provide the public with the opportunity to showcase their achievements and digital innovations, attract investment opportunities, and represent the Kingdom of Cambodia in the ASEAN Digital Award Competition.

The Cambodia Digital Awards 2025 will offer a total prize of USD 30,000 (thirty thousand US dollars) distributed across five award categories as follows:

1. Private Sector of the Year

2. Best Digital Inclusion of the Year

3. Best Digital Content of the Year

4. Minister Startup of the Year

5. Best Digital Research and Innovation of the Year
