Siem Reap— On June 12, 2025, His Excellency Khov Makara, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, presided over the closing ceremony of the training on “Comprehensive Exercise: CSIRT,” under the Cyber Resilience Improvement Project. The training took place from June 10–12, 2025, at Angkor Miracle Hotel, Siem Reap, and was attended by approximately 50 technical officials from various ministries, government institutions, and relevant units.

This training is one of the ongoing activities under the Cyber Resilience Improvement Project, a project that receives technical assistance and support from the Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Cambodia.

The objective of the training was to equip participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for establishing, operating, and strengthening the capacity of Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT) that align with the international standards. It also contributes to the implementation of national policy focused on developing the capacity of technical civil servants across ministries and government institutions, as well as operators of critical information infrastructure, in the field of cybersecurity.
