United States— From June 10–12, 2025, His Excellency So Visothy, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), led an MPTC delegation along with seven Cambodian tech companies and digital startups—PillTech, BookMeBus, CheckInMe, Jobify, konektAgri, Bamnang, and UDAYA Technology—to participate in the Silicon Valley Summit 2025, organized by Plug and Play in Sunnyvale, California, USA.
The Silicon Valley Summit 2025 is a key event for digital entrepreneurs, investors, leading tech companies, and experts to showcase new products, services, or solutions; build networks and business partnerships; seek funding; and pitch to potential investors. The summit also includes workshops where company leaders and experts from various sectors share knowledge and experiences, with a strong focus on technological integration and artificial intelligence (AI). Key topics include DeepTech, AgriTech, HealthTech & MedTech, Supply Chain & Advanced Manufacturing, Energy, Enterprise & AI, Quantum Computing, Crypto & Digital Assets, Food & Beverage, Mobility, FinTech, Brand & Retail, Travel & Hospitality, Real Estate & Construction, InsurTech, Aerospace & Defense, Smart City, and Semiconductors, and more. The event attracted around 6,000 participants from around the world.
The Silicon Valley Summit 2025 offered a valuable opportunity for the seven Cambodian tech companies and digital startups to pitch their products, platforms, and digital services to the startup community and investors. Additionally, over 1,100 international startups across 17 different sectors also participated. The Cambodian digital startups were able to build networks with diverse international startups and explore investment opportunities from Plug and Play that contribute to the rapid development of Cambodia’s digital startup ecosystem—especially in line with the Seventh Legislature of the Royal Government to drive economic growth.
This marks the first time that MPTC has brought Cambodian tech companies and digital startups to participate in an international-level program in Silicon Valley, the world’s largest tech hub. This initiative follows the official launch of the Plug and Play Cambodia office, established through the cooperation between MPTC and Plug and Play, with the goal to foster digital transformation and digital startup innovation ecosystem in Cambodia. It enables Cambodian startups to seek investment and scale up into regional and global markets through Plug and Play’s global network of over 60 offices worldwide and more than 550 tech companies and corporate partners.
