Phnom Penh— On the afternoon of June 28, 2025, His Excellency So Visothy, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, along with Her Excellency Kim Sethany, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, presided over the Technovation Cambodia x Future Digital Talent 2025 for youth (both boys and girls). The event was organized by Tech For Kids Academy at the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology and was attended by approximately 200 participants, including representatives from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, teachers, students, and parents and guardians.

The Technovation Girls Cambodia x Future Digital Talent 2025 program is a digital technology and entrepreneurship training and competition program for students from primary to high school across the country, aged 8 to 18. Through a 12-week program, the participants learned about emerging digital technologies, problem-solving, teamwork, public speaking, creativity, and entrepreneurship. This program has played an active role in developing Cambodia’s digital human capital, aligning with the Pentagonal Strategy—Phase I of the Royal Government, which focuses on five key priorities, namely people, roads, water, electricity, and technology, with a strong emphasis on digital technology.

In 2025, a total of 904 youths from 21 provinces across Cambodia applied to join the program, with 64 teams submitting projects to compete at the national level after completing the 12-week training. Among them, 15 teams were selected to present their projects, showcasing innovative digital solutions that utilized emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), mobile applications, websites, and various digital platforms to address real-world challenges. Through this competition, students gained hands-on experience, acquired new knowledge, demonstrated their creative ideas, and prepared themselves with essential digital skills for the future, contributing to the development of Cambodia’s digital human capital and accelerating the country’s digital transformation.
