Phnom Penh, MPTC’s Head Office, September 13, 2016: A Courtesy Call on H.E. Minister Tram Iv Tek by H.E. Dato’ Sri Hasan Malek, Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia.

H.E. Minister Tram Iv Tek said that the previous bilateral cooperation between Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and Malaysia in posts, telecommunications and ICT sectors are limited. Whereas the cooperation in ASEAN framework, Cambodia and Malaysia has released a joint statement during an official visit of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Malaysia on June, 2016. The joint statement has unveiled a common commitment in strengthening bilateral cooperation on commercial, agricultural and tourism sectors. 

Together with the meeting, H.E. Minister Tram Iv Tek has requested to Malaysian side to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation with Cambodia, especially in posts, telecommunications and ICT sectors through creating capacity development program including study tour, providing short and long- term training course or related workshops relevant to posts, telecommunications and ICT sectors.
