H.E. Minister Tram Iv Tek and H.E. Minister Truong Minh Tuan, Co-Presided over the Signing Ceremony on the Cooperation Documents
At the start of the meeting, H.E. Tram Iv Tek, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications (MPTC), expressed his profound thank to H.E. Truang Minh Tuan, Minister of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the warmly welcome to a delegation of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the Kingdom of Cambodia during an official visit in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
H.E. Minister Tram Iv Tek, elaborated briefly for the process and development of the previous operations of MPTC. H.E. also revealed about the development and progress in posts, telecomms and information communication technology (ICT) sectors focusing mainly on the growth of telephone and Internet services usage in the kingdom of Cambodia. H.E. added that the growth in the three sectors leading to the ministry has to make law and regulatory frameworks to enhance the development of the three sectors in ensuring service quality and competition with affordable price.
Before finalizing, H.E. Minister has suggested to continue strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two ministries to enhance common development on posts, telecoms and ICT sectors via sharing experiences, technical knowledge, conducting workshop and training. H.E. also suggested to the collaborations between the National Institute of Posts, Telecoms and Information Communication Technology (NIPTIC) with the National Institute of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the future.
H.E. Truang Minh Tuan, Minister of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, agreed and supported the speeches of H.E. Minister Tram Iv Tek in strengthening cooperations between the two ministries to enhance development and widening investments on posts, telecoms, and ICT sectors. H.E. also agreed and supported the initiatives of H.E. Minister Tram Iv Tek in enhancing the cooperation between (NIPTICT) with the National Institute of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the future. H.E. also suggested to the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications to increase more attention to Vietnamese companies in the purpose of encouraging operators to increase their long-term investment in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Finally, H.E. Minister expressed his profound sincere thanks to the delegation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for this meaningful and pleasant official visit and highly hoped about the participation to developing the three sectors to be better in the future.

- Memorandum of Understanding between Telecom Cambodia (T.C.) with Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT)
The meeting has successfully finished at around 10:30 a.m. on the same date with pleasant atmosphere and high responsibility.
