H.E. Kan Channmeta, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPTC), presided over the Opening Ceremony of Cambodia ICT Awards 2017

February 15, 2017, MPTC’s Head Office: H.E. Kan Channmeta, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPTC), presided over the Opening Ceremony of Cambodia ICT Awards 2017. The event was participated by MPTC’s leadership and many Government Officials as well as ICT experts from Ministries-Institutions and private companies.
The National Institute of Posts, Telecomm and Information and Communication Technology (NIPTICT) in collaboration with MPTC has been co-organized the third Cambodia ICT Awards 2017 which is a huge contest program to unveil achievements on innovations in ICT sector in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Applicants from local private start-up, civil society, non-governmental organization, and concerned institutions are eligible to apply for the contest before 15 May 2017. The program would be benefited as following:
  1. Improving the understanding and enhancing the scope of ICT use to the public broadly
  2. Reducing digital gap in business community and people around the country
  3. Providing opportunities, encouraging innovations, researching, and creating innovative ideas in ICT sector
  4. Contributing to urge the development ICT sector in the Kingdom of Cambodia. The winners will be selected as representative of the Royal Government of Cambodia to participate in the contest of ASEAN ICT Awards 2017.
