Phnom Penh— On the morning of October 27, 2025, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), met with the leadership and employees of Telecom Cambodia to foster the implementation of the second phase of reform. The meeting was attended by MPTC leaders, who are also serving as the chairman and members of the Board of Directors of Telecom Cambodia, along with Telecom Cambodia’s management, employees, and staff—bringing together approximately 100 participants.

In his remarks, H.E. Minister emphasized that the reform of Telecom Cambodia, which is a state-owned enterprise, has been one of the MPTC’s key priorities among other initiatives successfully implemented recently. H.E. Minister stated that over the past three years (2021–2024), Telecom Cambodia has undergone significant internal restructuring, strengthened service delivery, expanded investments in building the backbone telecommunication infrastructure, and improved operational efficiency until receiving remarkable fruitful outcomes—turning years of losses to profits for two consecutive years. These achievements reflect the collective effort of the Telecom Cambodia management, particularly of the employees and staff of all levels, who have internally worked together in unity. Looking ahead, H.E. Minister encouraged Telecom Cambodia’s management to reinforce existing business operations, explore new business opportunities aligned with digital technology trends, and continue to strengthen internal reforms while enhancing human resource capacity.

Before concluding, H.E. Minister urged all participants to uphold their responsibilities and actively work together and focus on developing strategic and business plans for Telecom Cambodia.
