Singapore: On October 21, 2025, the His Excellency Keo Sothie Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications was invited to co-chair the “6th ASEAN-U.S. Cyber Policy Dialogue” together with His Excellency Andrew R. Herrup, Senior Advisor of the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. The event was held as a sideline event co-located with the 10th Singapore International Cyber Week (10th SICW) and the 10th ASEAN Ministerial Conference on Cybersecurity (10th AMCC).

The dialogue included participation from the delegation of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications led by His Excellency Secretary of State, representatives from ASEAN Member States, the ASEAN Secretariat, and the United States. The discussion aimed to address challenges related to cyber threats in regional and international framework, promote capacity building in cyber expertise, strengthen cooperation on cybersecurity related, and share the progress on cybersecurity policies between ASEAN member states and the United States.

During this trip, His Excellency Secretary of State also led the delegation in a bilateral meeting with the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) to discuss and exchange insights on the implementation and regulation of the cybersecurity sector.
