Phnom Penh: On March 6, 2026, His Excellency Sok Puthyvuth, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), led the Data Governance and Open Data Policy Working Group to participate in a consultative meeting with Her Excellency Hang Lina, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Planning, to discuss the draft Data Governance Policy 2026–2035 at the Ministry of Planning.

The meeting discussed the development of the data governance framework and technical support arrangements to understand the vision, objectives, strategic goals, and priority actions outlined in the draft Data Governance Policy. The working groups from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) and the Ministry of Planning will continue to collaborate to strengthen data management practices that support the national statistical data system and development of data governance and open data.
