Laos: On April 2, 2025, His Excellency So Visothy, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), led a delegation comprising MPTC, the Digital Government Committee, and seven Cambodian digital technology companies—Vireak Buntham (VET Digital), CheckInME, PillTech, DelightTech, Morakot Technology, UDAYA Technology, and VTENH to attend the Lao Digital Week 2025. The event was presided over by H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, with participation from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society (Thailand), the Governor of Guangxi Province (China), and representatives from Vietnam, along with leaders and officials from Laos’ Ministry of Technology and Communications (MTC).

During the event, H.E. the President of Loas PDR and H.E. the Minister of MTC visited MPTC’s exhibition booth, which showcased many of Cambodia’s leading digital products, platforms, and services. Furthermore, the Minister of MTC expressed strong support for strengthening collaboration between Lao and Cambodian digital technology companies and praised the rapid growth of Cambodia’s digital sector. Additionally, both ministries will continue to enhance close cooperation in advancing digital transformation in the region and fostering robust partnerships.
