Phnom Penh— On the morning of June 10, 2025, His Excellency Mam Amnot, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, presided over a consultation workshop on the Draft Law on Post. The workshop brought together ministry leaders, representatives from relevant institutions, directors of provincial departments of post and telecommunications, and approximately 250 postal operators and took place at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.

The purpose of this consultation workshop was to gather input from relevant stakeholders to make the Draft Law on Post more comprehensive and complete. Particularly, the involvement of the private sector is a key player in driving the development of Cambodia’s postal sector.

It is important to note that the Draft Law on Post was drafted by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications and is currently in the stage of collecting inputs from all relevant stakeholders before proceeding with other formal legislative procedures.
