Phnom Penh— On the morning of August 5, 2025, at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), His Excellency Chun Vat, Secretary of State of the MPTC and Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Working Group of the General Secretariat of the National Digital Economy and Society Council (NCDES), led a technical consultation meeting on the draft of the “Monitoring and Evaluation Framework of the Cambodia Digital Economy and Society Policy Framework 2021–2035.” The meeting brought together representatives from the Digital Government Committee (DGC), the Digital Economy and Business Committee (DEBC), and the Digital Security Committee (DSC), along with technical advisors from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the monitoring and evaluation technical working group from the MPTC, totaling approximately 30 participants.
The meeting was organized to collect input on the indicators that will be used to measure the implementation of the policy, as well as to gather feedback to refine the draft of the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework of the Cambodia Digital Economy and Society Policy Framework 2021–2035 to ensure that it is comprehensive and highly effective.
Furthermore, H.E. Secretary of State Chun Vat outlined the importance of this monitoring and evaluation framework as it is a crucial mechanism for measuring implementation progress, defining methodologies, and serving as a tool to enhance both the monitoring and evaluation system and its capacity in supporting the implementation of the Cambodia Digital Economy and Society Policy Framework 2021–2035.
