Phnom Penh— On the afternoon of August 22, 2025, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, held a meeting with 124 scholarship students who will pursue their studies in the French Republic, the Czech Republic, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Ireland, and Japan—at the conference hall of the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT). The meeting was also attended by the ministry leaders, professors, and lecturers of the CADT.
During the meeting, H.E. Minister briefed the scholarship students on the latest progress in Cambodia’s digital sector, including the modernization of the government institutions, the development of digital human capital (covering the capacity building of civil servants, the private sector, and students), the establishment of the community technology centers, and the rapid adoption of digital technologies within the communities.
Furthermore, H.E. Minister also praised and encouraged the scholarship recipients to study hard and absorb valuable knowledge and experiences during their studies abroad to enhance their personal capacities. He further urged them to join the Royal Government in developing Cambodian society upon their return as well as upholding their Khmer spirit wherever they may be.
