Phnom Penh— On the morning of September 18, 2025, Her Excellency Tep Roda, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), and His Excellency Ung Sambath, Secretary General of the Disability Action Council, co-chaired a dissemination meeting on the National Disability Strategic Plan 2024–2028 with the participation of representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), members of the MPTC’s Disability Action Working Group, as well as officials from the General Secretariat of the Disability Action Council, at the MPTC headquarters.

The meeting was organized to promote the implementation of the National Disability Strategic Plan 2024–2028, which the Royal Government officially launched on December 3, 2024, during the celebration of the 26th National and 42nd International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The plan focuses on key strategic objectives related to building inclusive and accessible communities through physically accessible infrastructure, transportation systems, information and communication technology for persons with disabilities.

The meeting also discussed indicators under MPTC’s mandate that require active participation and implementation.
