Phnom Penh: On the morning of May 15, 2026, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, and Her Excellency Dr. Ing Kantha Phavi, Minister of Women’s Affairs, led a meeting with representatives from the private sector to prepare for the FrancoTech alongside the 20th Francophonie Summit 2026. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Tourism, ministry leadership, and representatives from other relevant institutions.

The meeting was organized to discuss, exchange views, and strengthen cooperation between relevant government ministries and institutions and the private sector on the organization of FrancoTech—a major technology and digital innovation event held alongside the 20th Francophonie Summit 2026, for which the Kingdom of Cambodia will be the host.

During the meeting, H.E. Minister Chea Vandeth briefed the progress and preparations achieved so far and urged the private sector to support the organization of this event through sponsorships, volunteer participation, technical support, resources, and other forms of contribution to help ensure the event runs smoothly and successfully.

H.E. Minister also emphasized that FrancoTech and the Francophonie Summit are vital events for the entire Francophonie community. This requires participation and cooperation from relevant stakeholders in a spirit of solidarity and partnership to showcase Cambodia’s business potential and prestige on the international stage.
