Phnom Penh: On the morning of July 31, 2026, His Excellency Liv Sophanarith, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), received a courtesy meeting with a delegation from the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) of India at the MPTC headquarters.
During the meeting, both sides discussed potential cooperation in the digital sector. The Cambodian side highlighted the Ministry’s work directions for digital transformation in Cambodia through various initiatives, particularly the Digital Park and the verify.gov.kh platform, while encouraging Indian tech companies to consider the possibility of investing in the Digital Park. Additionally, Cambodia showcased the benefits of verify.gov.kh and proposed that they explore cooperation on the Verify platform.









During the courtesy meeting, the Indian delegation presented (1) an introduction to the Indian tech delegation; (2) an overview of India’s strengths in electronics and IT; (3) exploration opportunities for bilateral cooperation in digital transformation, e-governance, AI, cybersecurity, digital public infrastructure, FinTech, smart cities, and electronic components; (4) identification of potential sectors for business cooperation; and (5) discussion on future collaboration, technology partnership, and participation in major events such as INDIASOFT 2027.
In closing, both sides expressed a strong commitment to exploring opportunities for expanding cooperation in Cambodia’s digital technology sector and encouraging Indian tech companies to invest there.
