His Excellency Minister PRAK SOKHON Talks with Civil Servants and Employees of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications
In the morning of October 17, 2013 at the Ministry’s office, His Excellency Mr.PRAK SOKHON, the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications presided over the speech ceremony with civil servants and employees of all levels, under the supervision of the Ministry aiming at strengthening the implementation of skills to be double developed further in accordance with the evolution of society and the deep reforms to strengthen the effectiveness of their skills according to the Rectangular Strategy in Phase 3 of the Fifth Legislatureof the National Assembly in 2013-2018.
After His Excellency Mr. LIVKimheng, Director-General of Directorate Generalof Administration of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications reported on the status of civil servants and the implementation of each task, His Excellency Minister PRAK SOKHON said the main mission of the Ministry is to focus on two important parts: provision of telecommunication services and improvement of the postal sector.
His Excellency Mr. PRAK SOKHON said by raising some key destination tasks in strengthening and developing the physical infrastructure of both postal and telecommunication sectors, the Ministry has been managing some prioritized projects aiming at improving the efficiency, quality, service expansion of telecommunications to be better towards rural areas and the integration of Cambodia in the region. Moreover, for postal sector, the Ministry commits to reform the system to continue the practice of public service and commercial services to all provinces and urban.
His Excellency Minister left a message to all leaders, servants, and employees under the Ministry’s supervision to change the behavior to be better than before by increasing the internal spirit of solidarity and with the relevant institutions, particularly respect disciplines and be conscientiously responsible for all skillful duties aiming at serving the postal and telecommunication sectors to widely grow from urban to rural areas in accordance with the evolution of information and communication technology, according to the Rectangular Strategy in Phase 3 of the Royal Government of Cambodia in the Fifth Legislature.
