H.E. Kan Channmeta, presides over the Opening Ceremony of the Regional Forum on Trainers for the 5th ASEAN Chief Information Officer

The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the Kingdom of Cambodia in collaboration with ASEAN Chief Information Officer Association (ACIOA), organized the 5th Regional ASEAN Chief Information Officer (5th ASEAN CIO) which will be held from 1st to 2nd December, 2016 at Sofitel Hotel Phnom Penh. The regional forum will participate by Trainers for the 5th Regional ASEAN CIO from the 10 ASEAN countries, local and regional industrial companies, Ministries-Institutions around 100 participants. The main purpose of this meeting is to increasing an annual meeting of trainers for ASEAN CIO to study and exchange experiences and views related to the management of digital economy and establishing industrial development plan. There are presentations and discussions between experts on the concerned important themes as following:
•  Presenting the development of ICT industry in each country
•  Challenges related to the development of digital economy
•  Preventing Cybersecurity and enhancing ICT industrial development.
