Meeting to discuss a request to review and comment on the draft 2020-2030 cooperation plan concerning the infrastructure connection between Lancang-Mekong countries

Phnom Penh, 7 May 2020, Secretary of State Khunheng Khay chaired a meeting to discuss a request to review and comment on the draft 2020-2030 cooperation plan concerning the infrastructure connection between Lancang-Mekong countries. This meeting was attended by senior officers and technical officers from relevant departments of MPTC.

The purpose of the meeting is to review and comment on the draft 2020-2030 cooperation plan concerning the infrastructure linking Lancang-Mekong countries. The proposed cooperation plan will benefit the infrastructure connection among countries in Lancang-Mekong region and will serve as a roadmap for the cooperation effort on sustainable development and cultural exchange as well as establishing community for promoting peace and prosperity among the countries in the Lancang-Mekong region. The plan will also support countries in the Lancang-Mekong region in strengthening their development cooperation and project implementation, and enable better infrastructure connection and promotion of investments in the Lancang Mekong region.
