Hanoi: On March 12, 2026, His Excellency Sam Sethserey, Director General of the General Department of Information and Communication Technology of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, led a delegation on a working visit to discuss cooperation frameworks with the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention of the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

During the meeting, both sides placed strong emphasis on enhancing the strategic partnership between the two countries through the exchange of professional experience and mutual technical support, with the aim of responding effectively to the rapid evolution of digital technologies.

In addition, the two parties explored the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen effective cooperation in key areas such as digital human resource development, cybersecurity resilience enhancement, capacity building for technical officials, and ensuring the secure and reliable use of digital systems in alignment with the policy direction of the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
