Phnom Penh: On the morning of March 31, 2026, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, received a courtesy meeting with His Excellency Takahashi Fumiaki, President of the Japan–Cambodia Association, along with his delegation, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC).

The meeting was convened to review and discuss the progress of previous cooperation between the Ministry and the Association, as well as to explore further areas of collaboration, including (1) the IT Pathway human resource development program, which aims to send Cambodian students with digital expertise to work in Japan; (2) support for the development of the master plan for the digital park project led by Nippon Koei; (3) investment activities by member companies of the Association in Cambodia; (4) increasing interest from Japanese companies in investing in Cambodia’s digital technology sector; and (5) an initiative to organize a job fair in Japan to promote professional exchange and networking opportunities between engineers and students from both countries.
