Phnom Penh: On the morning of May 4, 2026, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, received a courtesy meeting with Professor Yassine Lakhnech, President of Grenoble Alpes University, France, along with his delegation, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC).

During the meeting, H.E. Minister and Professor Yassine Lakhnech discussed cooperation in human resource development between Grenoble Alpes University and the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT). The collaboration includes facilitating opportunities for Cambodian students to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees at Grenoble Alpes University, as well as promoting academic exchanges for both students and faculty members in emerging technology fields such as space science, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence (AI).

In addition, H.E. Minister and Professor Yassine Lakhnech discussed potential cooperation on the National AI and Data Science Research Center project in Cambodia.
