The Silicon Valley Summit 2026 is an annual international event organized by Plug and Play to foster connections among stakeholders within the digital startup ecosystem, while showcasing innovative products, services, and emerging solutions. The summit also serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences among distinguished policymakers, high-potential startups supported by Plug and Play across the United States and many other countries, as well as leading global technology companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and NVIDIA. The event attracted approximately 5,000 participants from around the world.
During the summit, H.E. Sam Sethserey delivered a presentation on the progress of Cambodia’s digital startup ecosystem and held discussions with Plug and Play France and Plug and Play Canada regarding potential collaboration to bring digital startups to participate in FrancoTech 2026, which will be hosted in Cambodia in November 2026. He also participated in workshops focusing on the application of artificial intelligence technologies across various sectors.
H.E. Chea Sereyvath also delivered a presentation on the Verify platform. In his presentation, he highlighted that Verify platform is recognized as Cambodia’s 4th Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), developed to strengthen trusted and cross-border digital verification. The platform has not only been implemented in Cambodia, but has also gained recognition and been adopted by multiple countries as a trusted solution for digital verification.
He further shared Cambodia’s role in advancing global digital transformation through open, trusted, and citizen-centric digital solutions. In addition, he expressed pride in Cambodia’s active contribution to building an inclusive and interoperable digital ecosystem.
During the mission, the Cambodian delegation also joined the forum at AI Center of Excellence at San Jose University, which featured presentations on emerging technologies utilizing Artificial Intelligence to accelerate business growth.
