Phnom Penh: On the afternoon of June 8, 2026, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, received a courtesy meeting with Mr. Jan Lambrechts, Director of the AUPP Technology Center (ATC), to review the progress and achievements under the ACTSmart program, which is co-organized by Smart Axiata and ATC in Cambodia.
During the meeting, Mr. Jan Lambrechts and representatives from Smart Axiata introduced 10 high-potential Cambodian digital startup founders who participated in the ACTSmart digital startup training program, including Inkable, ScreenWise, WeSync, TosTrip, ByteLab, Takkatot, OneDash, Smean, QlinicOS, and Geek Digital. The founders paid their respects and delivered presentations on their respective business ventures.

H.E. Minister shared insights on the development of digital technology in Cambodia, as well as MPTC’s efforts to enhance digital literacy and cultivate digital human capital in order to foster the growth of Cambodian digital startups through collaborations with international partners—such as Plug & Play from the United States, ARC Startup Accelerator from Europe, and Block71 from Singapore—with the goal of producing a “Unicorn” (a startup valued at over $1 billion) in the future. Notably, the capacities of many young Cambodian male and female youths participating in digital competitions have already led to consecutive wins at national, regional, and international levels.
In conclusion, all the digital startup founders expressed their deepest gratitude to H.E. Minister and MPTC for their continuous support and dedication to the digital sector and digital startups. In response, H.E. Minister offered words of encouragement and urged all founders to continue striving for further success for both themselves and the nation.
