Phnom Penh: On July 26, 2026, His Excellency Chun Vat, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), and His Excellency Dr. Sann Vathana, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), presided over the national competition “Technovation Girls Cambodia x Future Digital Talents 2026”, which was organized by Tech For Kids Academy and supported by both MPTC and MoEYS with funding from CBRD. The event was attended by ministry leaders, development partners, mentors, parents, and students—bringing together approximately 350 participants at the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP).
The “Technovation Girls Cambodia x Future Digital Talents 2026” is a digital technology and entrepreneurship training and competition designed for primary to high school students nationwide aged 8 to 18. Through a 12-week training program, the program provided new digital technology skills, problem-solving techniques, teamwork, public speaking, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Furthermore, it actively contributes to developing digital human capital in Cambodia, aligning with the Pentagonal Strategy—Phase I of the Royal Government, which focuses on five key priorities: people, roads, water, electricity, and technology—especially digital technology.
Notably, the 2026 program achieved remarkable results by attracting 665 registered students (430 female and 235 male) from 20 city-provinces. A total of 62 projects were proposed, including 50 by female students and 12 by male students. As a result, three teams were selected as Global Semi-Finalists (one team each in the Beginner, Junior, and Senior levels), while the National Pitching Event consisted of 15 teams competing (12 female and 3 male teams), which were divided into 4 Beginner, 5 Junior, and 6 Senior teams.
Following an intense national competition, four winning teams were officially announced as follows:
– Dexterity: National Champion for High School Level
– Kesararam With Digital: National Champion for Middle School Level
– Logic_Loopers: National Champion for Primary School Level
– Impact Nexus: National Champion, Popularity Award
