Hunan, China: Under the high nomination of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei, Prime Minister, from September 15 to 16, 2026, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, led a ministry delegation to attend the 5th International Summit on the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) Applications in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, People’s Republic of China.

The summit was attended by leaders and representatives from aerospace ministries and institutions of various countries, corporate representatives, professors, and youth within China—bringing together over 7,000 participants.

On this occasion, H.E. Minister delivered a keynote speech on leveraging space technology to foster economic and social development. H.E. Minister also visited an exhibition and held a working discussion with GalaxySpace, a Chinese satellite manufacturing company.
