Minister Vandeth Chea Leads MPTC Delegates on Site Visit at Moradok Techo National Stadium
Phnom Penh, December 29, 2020: Minister of Post and Telecommunications Vandeth Chea led a delegation of ministry officials and technical experts to conduct a site visit at the Moradok Techo National Stadium Complex located at Chroy Jong Va district, Phnom Penh. The objective of the visit was to examine the technical requirements of telecommunications networks within the stadium, administrative building, athletes’ accommodation and surrounding areas. MPTC will then cooperate with the National Olympic Committee and construction committee to build optical fiber connectivity, access networks, WiFi, cell services, surveillance cameras and other relevant technologies to serve the digital needs of visitors and ensure uninterrupted broadcasting of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, hosted by Cambodia in 2023.
