Phnom Penh: On the morning of April 23, 2025, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications and Chairman of the Digital Government Committee, delivered a keynote speech during the official launch of the “Strategy on the Development of Electronic Services for Business 2025–2028”. The ceremony was presided over by His Excellency Dr. Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance, and Chairman of the Digital Economy and Business Committee, representing Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, along with the participation of His Excellency Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Civil Service, and Chairman of the Public Administration Reform Committee, and other officials and national and international guests at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh.

In his remarks, Minister Chea Vandeth expressed his strong support and congratulations for this new achievement that aims to foster a favorable business environment through the provision of electronic services, thereby contributing to realizing Cambodia Vision 2050. Simultaneously, the implementation of the “Strategy on the Development of Electronic Services for Business 2025–2028” marks a significant step in the digital transformation for business, which can improve the business environment and attract further investment in Cambodia. H.E. the Minister emphasized that digital transformation for business is a collective responsibility that drives a shift in mindset and workflow among all stakeholders, including the royal government, ministry institutions, the private sector, and citizens.

Furthermore, H.E. the Minister expressed his confidence that this strategy will serve as a roadmap for the modernization of public service delivery, in alignment with the Pentagonal Strategy Phase I of the Royal Government of the Seventh Legislature of the National Assembly, under the wise leadership of Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
