The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) is pleased to highlight the remarkable achievement of Cambodia’s digital startup and to congratulate Bamnang Academy, which has been selected to showcase its business potential at Harvard Angels Southeast Asia (SEA). Bamnang was chosen from over 60 startups worldwide, which demonstrates the growing potential of Cambodia’s digital technology sector and is a direct reflection of MPTC’s unwavering support.

Furthermore, Bamnang has collaborated with the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Singapore Management University (SMU)—one of the region’s leading startup incubators. The two sides plan several key collaborations, including an Internship Exchange Program for Cambodian digital technology students to gain practical experience in Singapore while welcoming international students for internships in Cambodia. In addition, there will be exchange visits to major tech companies in Singapore and investment network support, through which SMU will connect Bamnang with VC and angel investors.

Bamnang’s achievement at Harvard Angels SEA and its collaboration with SMU stand as a testament to the fruitful results of MPTC’s ongoing support to further promote Cambodia’s digital startups in order to enhance its competitiveness on the global stage. MPTC will remain committed to supporting and empowering digital startups, as well as expanding opportunities for education, employment, and business for Cambodian youth.

Bamnang Academy was founded by three Cambodian alumni who pursued their studies at the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) and in the United States.
