Phnom Penh: On July 15, 2026, His Excellency Mao Sela, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) and Chairman of the Community Tech Center (CTC) Working Group, led a meeting to review and evaluate the progress of the CTC Project for the first semester of 2026. The meeting was attended by H.E. Dr. Sann Vathana, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), and relevant working groups at the MPTC headquarters.
The meeting aimed to monitor the project implementation progress, review key achievements, and discuss challenges, as well as set directions for the next semester. The discussion focused on center operations, training programs, and other relevant tasks to ensure the project implementation runs efficiently and meets its goals of enhancing digital capacity in local communities.

As a result, the working groups of MPTC and MoEYS agreed on future directions and action plans to continue driving the project forward, as well as strengthening inter-institutional cooperation to achieve the common goal of supporting digital human capital development, promoting digital literacy, and bridging the digital divide in communities.
It is worth noting that the CTC was established by MPTC in collaboration with MoEYS to provide digital skills training, promote digital literacy, and bridge the digital divide within the community in an inclusive and innovative manner. The CTC has four main functions: (1) Computer Lab, (2) Training Room, (3) Post Office, and (4) Public Hall.
