Phnom Penh— On the morning of July 22, 2025, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, presided over and led the meeting with the ministry’s Strategic Planning working group. The meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters, brought together leaders, heads of departments, and technical officials under the supervision of the ministry.

The meeting was organized for the purpose of introducing the composition and responsibilities of the primary and sub-working groups across key sectors, including institutional development, information and communication technology (ICT) and digital, telecommunications, and postal services.

During the meeting, H.E. Minister provided strategic planning guidance, emphasizing the importance of delivering public services with more efficiency, reduced time and costs, and responsiveness to the needs of citizens. He underscored the need to align the ministry’s strategic plan with the policies, strategies, and action plans of the Royal Government under the wise leadership of Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. This alignment includes the Pentagonal Strategy—Phase I, the Cambodia Digital Economy and Society Policy Framework 2021–2035, the Cambodia Digital Government Policy 2022–2035, and the Postal Sector Development Policy 2022-2030.
