Takeo Province: On the morning of February 26, 2026, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications and Chairman of the Royal Government Working Group for Takeo Province, led a meeting to evaluate the results achieved in 2025 and to set forth the strategic direction for 2026. The meeting, held at the meeting hall of Takeo Provincial Hall, was attended by deputy directors and members of the Royal Government Working Group for Takeo Province; representatives from all 10 cities and districts; provincial leaders; heads of departments and units under the provincial administration; as well as leaders from municipalities, districts, communes, and sangkats—bringing together approximately 412 participants.

During the meeting, H.E. the Minister highlighted some challenges in the local community and instructed the working group, along with leaders and authorities at all levels in Takeo Province, to continue working closely together to address the concerns of the citizens, especially the implementation of the “Safe Village–Commune–Sangkat” policy to combat drug-related issues and youth delinquency. Furthermore, he advised the working group to organize regular public forums to listen to citizens’ concerns and requests in a timely and effective manner.

Before concluding, H.E. the Minister expressed his appreciation to the working group members, leaders, and authorities at all levels of Takeo Province for their dedication and efforts, which have led to numerous achievements in recent years.
