Phnom Penh: On June 29, 2026, His Excellency Kong Phallack, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), chaired a meeting to discuss Phase 2 of the Partnership for Infrastructure (P4I) project at the MPTC headquarters. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Australian Embassy to the Kingdom of Cambodia, the P4I project team, the MPTC legal team, and the representatives of the Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia (TRC). The discussions focused on sharing experiences from the implementation of P4I Phase 1, which included drafting the Law on Cybersecurity, along with legal frameworks related to radio frequency spectrum management and submarine cables, while also discussing priority activities for the implementation of P4I Phase 2, which is supported by the Australian Government.
