Phnom Penh: On the morning of July 1, 2026, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), received a courtesy call from His Excellency UENO Atsushi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia, and bid farewell upon the completion of his diplomatic mission in Cambodia at the MPTC Headquarters.

During the meeting, H.E. Minister and H.E. Ambassador discussed and exchanged insights on digital technology development, the National Data Center, and past cooperation between both institutions, as well as future joint initiatives.

In closing, both sides committed to further strengthening the cooperation between the two institutions. Furthermore, H.E. Minister also wished H.E. Ambassador continued success in his future missions.
