Phnom Penh— On the morning of September 2, 2025, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), and Her Excellency Dr. Ing Kantha Phavi, Minister of Women’s Affairs, co-chaired a preparatory meeting for the upcoming FrancoTech, which will be organized in conjunction with the 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026. The meeting, held at the MPTC headquarters, was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation, and the Council for the Development of Cambodia, as well as representatives from other relevant institutions.

During the meeting, both Ministers provided key recommendations to ensure that the preparations for the FrancoTech are impactful and successful and will become an important event alongside the 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026, showcasing Cambodia’s role as the host country.
