Phnom Penh: On the afternoon of March 4, 2026, H.E. So Visothy, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, presided over at “Community Series: Bridging Cambodia and Southeast Asia – Innovation and Investment Connect” The event was co-organized by Plug and Play Cambodia, the AUPP Technology Center (ATC), and the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) at the AUPP Technology Center (ATC). The event was attended by leaders from MPTC, representatives from private companies, Cambodian digital startups, and approximately 50 students.

The event aimed to bring together digital startup founders, investors, and stakeholders within the startup ecosystem to discuss and explore opportunities for market expansion, partnership development, and business growth across Southeast Asia Region. The event also served as part of the launch of the second cohort of the Startup Acceleration Program, aiming to further promote innovation, strengthen networking, and enhance understanding of market expansion strategies while connecting startups with international investors.

Taking this opportunity, His Excellency the Secretary of State emphasized that digital startups play a vital role in driving innovation, creating employment opportunities, and supporting economic growth. He also noted that the first cohort of the Startup Acceleration Program can be considered a success and has demonstrated important milestones in the positive evolution of Cambodia’s digital startup ecosystem.

The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications will remain unwavering support to collaborate with partners to create greater opportunities for Cambodian digital startups to compete regionally and on the global stage.
