Phnom Penh: On June 25, 2026, His Excellency Cheap Satharoath, Acting Minister of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), presided over the opening ceremony of the Training on Leading Digital Transformation “Navigating Emerging Technology Innovation for Leaders of Ministries and Institutions,” for secretaries-general, directors-general, and inspectors-general at the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) Training Center.
During the ceremony, H.E. Acting Minister highlighted that digital technology is reshaping daily life of citizens, business operations, and public and private sector work. It has also transformed thinking, data analysis, and decision-making processes, which requires continuous training across all levels—from leadership to technical teams and civil servants. H.E. Acting Minister added that digital technology enhances daily living and boosts productivity in key sectors such as education, health, labor, commerce, and public administration, ultimately ensuring efficient public service delivery for citizens.









It is worth noting that the Training on Leading Digital Transformation “Navigating Emerging Technology Innovation for Leaders of Ministries and Institutions,” is specially designed for leaders of ministries and institutions from secretaries-general to directors-general to inspectors-general levels from various ministries and institutions. It is divided into two cohorts: Cohort 1 from June 25 to 27, 2026, and Cohort 2 from June 29 to July 1, 2026. The training is curated with topics that match rapid digital trends and was delivered by two renowned international professors: Professor Guido Gianasso, an expert in leadership and cultural intelligence, and Professor Shirish C. Srivastava, an expert in executive government training.
