Phnom Penh: On the afternoon of July 22, 2026, His Excellency Liv Sophanarith, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, received a courtesy call from the US-ASEAN Business Council delegation, led by His Excellency Brian D. McFeeters, President and CEO of the US-ASEAN Business Council, alongside representatives from American companies at the Ministry.

During the meeting, H.E. Secretary of State and H.E. Brian D. McFeeters discussed the strengthening of business cooperation between the US-ASEAN Business Council and the Ministry across key sectors, including postal services, digital technology, cybersecurity, and telecommunications.

Furthermore, H.E. Secretary of State introduced Cambodia’s Digital Park project, which will become an opportunity to attract foreign investment through government support mechanisms and incentives. H.E. Secretary of State reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to advancing digital sector development in Cambodia, including the establishment of the Digital Park and implementation of high-speed internet initiatives that empower local SMEs.

In addition, H.E. Secretary of State highlighted the vast investment potential and opportunities in the three core sectors above and emphasized cooperation on strategic partnerships for investment in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
