Takeo Province: On July 21, 2026, the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) hosted a workshop on “Strengthening Operations for Community Tech Centers (CTCs)”, which was attended by MPTC leadership, representatives from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, high school principals, the chairman of CTC, and relevant stakeholders—bringing together approximately 180 participants at the Takeo Provincial Hall. The opening ceremony was presided over by His Excellency Mao Sela, Under Secretary of State of MPTC and Chairman of the CTC Working Group, and His Excellency Vei Samnang, Takeo Provincial Governor.

The workshop was organized to: (1) review operational and management models to identify challenges and implement solutions that ensure ownership of daily operations and long-term sustainability of the center’s operations; (2) share best practices, promote school management qualifications, and share successful experiences and key strategies for leading and managing schools, aligning with the 21st century and digital education; and (3) encourage action plans to enhance CTC operational efficiency, delivering lasting benefits to students and local communities.

Additionally, Venerable Samdech Preah Udom Vongsa Dr. Kou Sopheap delivered a Dhamma sermon on “Environment and Education,” focusing on (1) developing human resources through character building, discipline, ethics, and environmental protection beginning at school; (2) connecting the environment to educational quality, students’ well-being, and behavior; and (3) key strategies to engage students and communities in maintaining clean and sustainable school facilities.

As a result, all relevant stakeholders united under the spirit of “Think Together, Solve Together to Ensure Sustainability” by encouraging high schools to take ownership and integrate CTC activities into school action plans to foster the next generation of digital talent toward Cambodia’s Vision 2050.
