Takeo Province: On the morning of August 13, 2026, His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Honorary President of the Cambodian Veterans and Retirees Association in Takeo Province, and Head of the Royal Government Working Group for Takeo Province, met with approximately 1,700 retirees and veterans in Tram Kak District, Takeo Province.

During the meeting, H.E. Minister conveyed warm regards from Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, who continuously care for the well-being of all veterans and retirees. On this occasion, H.E. Minister expressed his deep gratitude to the seniors and retirees for laying strong foundations across all sectors and devoting heart and soul to fulfilling duties for the cause of the nation to leave a legacy for the next generation, which we must protect and continue to build upon.

Furthermore, H.E. Minister also highlighted national progress across all sectors, including the development of public infrastructure, schools, hospitals, bridges, and roads that improve daily travel and various business activities for citizens from all walks of life.

H.E. Minister briefed participants who are retirees and veterans on ongoing government welfare support under the wise leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and carried forward by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, such as social land concessions, healthcare services, housing assistance, living allowances, and regular pensions.

Before concluding, H.E. Minister opened the floor to requests in order for the working group to give solutions.
